British cruiserweight champion Jon-Lewis Dickinson (14-2) outpointed Mike Stafford (11-2) at Rainton Meadows Arena.
The judges scored Friday’s contest 117-112, 118-112 and 115-113 in the Birtley 26-year-old’s favour in a successful second British title defence.
