Frankie Gavin vs Denton Vassell to headline Liverpool show on June 28

The British and Commonwealth title fight between Frankie Gavin (15-0) and Denton Vassell (20-0)  will headline promoter Frank Warren's show at the Liverpool Olympia on Friday June 28 live on BoxNation.

Unfortunately the Paul Smith v Tony Dodson British super middleweight title fight will now not take place on the show as a further request to extend the purse offer deadline could not be agreed upon.

The show will feature the exciting, hard-hitting, Ellesmere Port ace Paul Butler in a challenge for the WBO International super flyweight championship as he looks to secure a third title alongside his British and Commonwealth belts.

Also showcasing their talent will be Merseyside stars Liam Smith, Joe Selkirk, Stephen Smith and Matthew Fagan, plus Manchester's Joe Murray and Rhys Roberts.
