Harrison to fight KO king on Khan-Diaz card
Audley Harrison has agreed to fight unbeaten heavweight contender Deontay Wilder on the Amir Khan-Julio Diaz card at the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield on April 27.
Former 2000 Olympic Gold medalist Harrison (31-6) bounced back from a brutal defeat inside a round to David Price by winning prizefighter for a second time last month.
Before losing to Price, the 41-year-old sparred with 6`7" Wilder (27-0) and claimed the 27-year-old American "hit like a mule".
Wilder, nicknamed The Bronze Bomber, fought at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing winning a bronze medal despite only having 30 amateur fights. In his pro contests he has stopped every one of his 27 opponents all inside four rounds.
