Hennessey eyes Haye vs Fury
Promoter Mick Hennessey revealed on Tuesday that his fighter unbeaten heavyweight Tyson Fury would be willing to step in as an opponent for David Haye in the summer.
Fury, (20-0) who vacated his British and Commonwealth titles to pursue a tilt at the Klitschkos, makes his American debut on April 20 when he meets former two-time world champion Steve Cunningham at Madison Square Garden. But Hennessey said on Tuesday of the unbeaten 24-year-old. "He is interested in that fight with Haye, definitely, and it could be done at a stadium this summer as long as the date is right."
Other possible opponents for Haye, (26-2) who is expected to return to the ring in late June, are Jonathan Banks, Robert Hellenius and Alexander Povetkin at a venue in the UK to be determine.
