Hearn offers Frampton camp Quigg fight in March
Matchroom Sport promoter Eddie Hearn has made an offer for unbeaten contender Carl Frampton (16-0) to fight WBA super bantamweight champion Scott Quigg (26-0-2) next spring.
Quigg will defend his title against a yet to be determined opponent on November 23 on the Carl Froch-George Groves undercard in Manchester. Frampton, meanwhile will return from an eight-month hiatus next weekend when he defends his European and IBF inter-continental titles against Frenchman Jeremy Parodi (35-1-1) in Belfast.
Should both come through unscathed a big domestic clash between the two undefeated fighters looks very likely.
"We have made a huge offer to Frampton's licenced manager and promoter Barry McGuigan for Carl to fight Scott in March on Sky Sports and are looking forward to opening talks in the coming weeks," said Hearn.
Frampton is contracted to appear on Frank Warren's TV channel BoxNation, it is understood that Warren had offered Hearn a February fight for Quigg.
