Hopkins silence before Cloud fight

Bernard Hopkins opted not to speak at the final press conference on Wednesday with IBF light heavyweight champion Tavoris Cloud to promote their fight on Saturday night live on BoxNation at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, USA.

Wearing a black hood, ski mask and a pair of dark sunglasses, 48-year-old Hopkins (52-6-2) choose to let his traner Naazim Richardson do all the talking for him on the podium.

Unbeaten Cloud (24-0) said "It was childish. I just thought it was childish. It was funny to turn around and see a grown man with a ski mask standing there and saying nothing to nobody."

This fight is a chance for five time world champion Hopkins to prove the doubter's wrong who believe he is on the slide following a points defeat to Chad Dawson in his last fight.
