Lee Selby vs Fernando Montiel on October 14

Lee Selby (21-1, 8 KOs) will defend his IBF featherweight title against former world champion Fernando Montiel (54-4-2, 39 KOs) on October 14 at Gila River Arena, Glendale, Arizona.
The 28-year-old Welshman captured the belt from Evgeny Gradovich via an eighth round stoppage in May and he will make his American debut when he defends it for the first time against the experienced Mexican.
Montiel, 36, who has won world titles at flyweight, super flyweight and bantamweight, may have seen better days but he has won his last 8 fights.
On the same card, former world light welterweight and welterweight champion Devon Alexander will fight Mexico's Aaron Martinez.
