Martin Murray to split with Hatton Promotions

Martin Murray (26-1-1) will part company with promoter Ricky Hatton when his contract expires.
The St Helens middleweight has not fought since last December and will be free to join another promoter once his deal runs out.
Hatton has expressed his disappointment about the impending split with Murray after guiding the 31-year-old to two world titles shots.
Murray held Felix Sturm to a draw in 2011, while he suffered a controversial points defeat against Sergio Martinez last April.
Hatton, who signed Murray in 2009, said: "We got Martin a British title, a Commonwealth title and two world title shots. We secured him two further world title shots and all he had to do was make up his mind which one he wanted.
"He's had six world title fights offered to him in two years. I don't think anyone's had more than that.
"To say I'm disappointed is an understatement, but that's the game."
