Carson Jones pulls out of Purdy fight

British Welterweight Lee Purdy will meet Mexican Cosme Rivera for the IBF International welterweight title at the Wembley Arena in Betfair's 'London's finest' on Saturday night live on Sky Sports following Carson Jones withdrawal due to illness.

The 36-year-old former World tile challenger Rivera, who knocked out british welterweight James Hare in December 2003, has fought the likes of Andre Berto, Alfredo Angulo and Zab Judah, though he lost to them all.

American Jones, who impressed in losing on points to Kell Brook last year, was scheduled to fight Purdy in December but it was Purdy who was forced to pull out a week before with a virus.
