Haye signs a long term deal with Matchroom and fights Charr on June 29
David Haye (26-2) has signed a long term deal with Matchroom and will fight Germany based Lebanese Manuel Charr (23-1) on June 29 at the Manchester Arena live on Sky Sports 1, promoter Eddie Hearn announced.
The 32-year-old former WBA heavyweight champion defeated Dereck Chisora in 5 rounds in his last outing in July before retiring, but then in March annouced he would make a comeback in June.
His opponent will be 'Diamond boy' Charr, 28, who has only been beaten once in his career when his world title fight with Vitali Klitschko was controversially stopped in the fourth round due to Charr sustaining a cut above his eyebrow.
"I'm delighted to have agreed a four-fight promotional deal with David Haye and Hayemaker," said Hearn.
