Promoter Frank Warren made a big offer to Eddie Hearn for his latest signing Scott Quigg (25-0-1) to fight Carl Frampton (16-0) in September, but surprisingly Hearn replied saying that a September date was a little too soon for Quigg.

Earlier this month Warren made Carl Froch a multi-million pound offer to fight WBO light heavyweight champion Nathan Cleverly only to be declined by Hearn.

Warren stated "How can any boxer not be ready for a fight in three months, especially with a contest already scheduled for two weeks? Only yesterday Hearn said in an interview that both fighters wanted it and that it was not the boxers, but their teams that were preventing it from happening. Well if Frampton wants it and, according to Hearn, Quigg wants it also, then what does that tell you?"
