Haye-Fury now set for February 8

David Haye (26-2)  and Tyson fury (21-0)  will now clash on Saturday February 8 at the Phones 4 u Arena in Manchester.

The pair were scheduled to meet this Saturday at the same venue before Haye suffered a cut to his left eyebrow in training that required six stitches.

Both camps have now managed to rearrange the huge domestic heavyweight scrap and Haye has vowed to expose Fury when they finally meet in the ring next year.

"News of the date in February is music to my ears," he said. "My fans will still get the chance to see what they all wanted to see this weekend - they'll get to see Tyson Fury sparked out in a spectacular fashion."

Fury was unimpressed with Haye for withdrawing at just a week's notice and has branded the ex WBA heavyweight champion the "excuse maker", claiming he is scared to fight him.

Haye rejected his taunts and defended his decision to spar eight days before the fight.

"Sparring eight days before a fight is nothing new or unusual. I've done this before fights in the past and never had an issue."
