British heavyweight Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) has been stripped of his IBF title.

Fury won the IBF belt, along with the WBA and WBO titles, by beating Wladimir Klitschko on points in Germany last month.

However, the IBF rules insisted that Fury must face their mandatory challenger Vyacheslav Glazkov (21-01, 13 KOs) within a set period of time, but instead he has opted for a rematch with the Ukrainian veteran next.

Klitschko has a contractual right to a rematch, which could take place as soon as April.

The IBF has now ordered Ukranian Glazkov to face American contender Charles Martin (22-0-1, 20 KOs) for the vacant title.
