Frank Warren has had to put his big Wembley show next month back to July 20 in order to secure an opponent for Dereck Chisora.

Deontay Wilder had been announced as Chisora's opponent but it transpired the American had not signed the contract and had subsequently got into trouble with the law.

The card originally scheduled for June 15 was also due to feature big domestic clashes between Frankie Gavin vs Denton Vassel and Paul Smith vs Tony Dodson.

"I've had to postponed the show by five weeks because of the problems encountered with Wilder's arrest after we were imformed that he was OK to fight Chisora on the original date," said Warren.

"The postponement to July 20th will allow time to secure an opponent for Chisora. It's a value for money show with a cracking fight between unbeaten champions Frankie Gavin and Denton Vassell plus the fast rising unbeaten star Paul Butler, backed up with a top quality undercard."

Smith vs Dodson for the vacant British super middleweight title will now headline a new show promoted by Warren to take place on Friday June 28 at the Liverpool Olympia.
